One of the first things almost every parent tells us before a family session is, “My kids won’t sit still for photos!” Trust us—we get it! We’ve been in your shoes, saying the exact same thing about our own kids. So let’s set the record straight right now…
No child is going to stand perfectly still and pose—and that’s exactly how it should be! Our sessions aren’t about stiff, forced smiles. Instead, we focus on play, movement, and natural interactions that bring out the real joy in your family. Through games, sensory prompts, and a little bit of silliness, we’ll capture those authentic moments—the giggles, the twirls, the quiet cuddles, and everything in between.
Expect fun. Expect movement. Expect dancing. And if it takes a round of Let It Go to win over a tiny Frozen fan, well… we’re not above breaking into song!
So don’t stress about how your little ones will “behave.” Just show up, be present, and let us capture the magic of your family—exactly as you are.
How do we plan out your session?
Every family has a story, and we’re here to help you tell yours in the most authentic and meaningful way. Our process is designed to keep things simple, stress-free, and—most importantly—fun!
We’ll start by picking a date and time that works best for you, making sure we find the perfect moment to capture your family’s unique energy. From there, we’ll send over a short questionnaire—nothing too serious, just a few questions to help us understand what this session means to you and how we can make it truly special.
And then? We dive into the creative details! Outfits, colors, and styling all come together to set the tone for your session. Whether you’re dreaming of playful outdoor adventures or cozy moments at home, we’ll guide you every step of the way to ensure your photos feel effortless, natural, and 100% you.

No worries at all! We don’t expect kids to sit still and pose—we actually prefer when they don’t! Our sessions are all about play, movement, and real moments. We’ll use fun prompts and games to keep them engaged, so they feel like they’re just having fun rather than “taking photos.

We always recommend wearing something that feels comfortable, natural, and you! Soft, neutral tones and earthy colours photograph beautifully, but most importantly, choose outfits that allow you to move and feel at ease. If you need help, we’re more than happy to offer styling guidance!
