Hi there! We’re Samie and Chris, the duo behind Low Key Photography, based in Caroline Springs, Melbourne, Victoria. We’re passionate about capturing life’s special moments—whether that’s the laughter shared at a family session or the heartfelt moments of an event.

A Little About Us

We met back in 2019 by complete chance and instantly clicked. From our very first conversations, it was clear we both shared a love for photography & camping. That shared passion soon grew into Low Key Photography, where we focus on creating natural, candid, and storytelling-style images for families, couples, and even your fur babies.

Together, we raise a busy, blended family full of love. Between us, we have four children: my three older kids (ages 15, 14, and 9) from a previous relationship and our youngest son, Harrison. Harrison’s twin sister, who we sadly lost early on, and our beautiful daughter, Charlotte, who passed away at birth, are forever in our hearts and inspire us daily.

Our own experiences as parents (and juggling life with kids!) give us a deeper appreciation for the precious, fleeting moments in life. That’s why we pour so much heart into helping you preserve your own memories through our photography.

What to Expect

We know that photography sessions can feel a little stressful—believe us, we’ve been there! But we want you to know that our sessions are designed to be relaxed and fun. With four kids of our own, we get it. Whether it’s toddlers who can’t sit still or pets who steal the show, we’re here to make sure you walk away with natural, genuine moments that tell your story.
